Is there a place for Glam music in 2000?

Of course there is. I think music shouldn't have any limits. If you don't like it do not listen to it, if you like it enjoy it !!! There is music for everbody even some stupid radiostations and MTV try to set trends. But the only thing that MTV tries to do is make millions of dollars. They don't give a fuck about the fans. I also think they don't have problems to replace a VJ if there is a new person that would draw more people. Fans should know that.

Do you think glam will get bigger and bigger again?

I'm not sure about that but I hope so !!!

Are these all new songs or songs that were written in the past?

Most of them where written within the last year. A few songs where older. The music for "Lonely Nite in Paradise" was written more than 6 years ago. I re-wrote the song last fall and Keri Kelli came up with the vocals. "Steal the Girlz" was written only 2 weeks before we left for Los Angeles. "Shock the World" and "Far Away" were written by Ariel Stiles ( the first PBF Guitarplayer ) back in 1990.

How did you get Steve Summers and Stevie Rachelle to sing on the CD?

Eric Singer introduced me to Stevie Rachelle back in 1998. I contacted Steve Summers by calling the PBF Hotline and left him a message. When they heard the demos they loved it and they were on the "Shameless" boat.

You really got Steve Summers by calling the PBF Hotline?

    Yes, that's true !!

How did you choose who will sing and play on each song?

By feeling. When I wrote the songs I thought who sound best for which song.

Was it all your choice or did they hear the songs and then pick the ones they wanted to play on?

It was my choice. Stevie also wanted to sing "Queen 4 a Day".

Would you like to find a permanent singer or do you like have different people on different songs?

I like having 2 singers. So it never gets boring for the listeners.

Any chance of you singing any songs on a future CD?

Maybe, we almost recorded a song with me on vocals but Gene called us 2 days before so we did "American Man". But we probably use that song for the next CD.

Are their other vocalists you would like to get for the next CD?

Paul Stanley would be great but I'm realistic and don't think this would happen. Also Phil Lewis and Jani Lane would be great. When we did the first record we tried to get the singer from "King of the Hill" but nobody knew where he lives or even what his full name is. So if anybody know, please contact me.

Whose idea was it to add the TUFF song "A Place Where Love Can't Go"?

Stevie and mine. I told him how much I love the song and he said we should record it.

Any chance of recording more older TUFF songs in the future?

Maybe!? Stevie said we should work on some songs.

How did you end up using a song written by Gene Simmons, Jamie st. James, & Tommy Thayer?

Gene called Stevie during the recordings and offered us to use that song. I thought it's a really cool song so we used it.

Have any of these guys been to your shows?

No, since we only played in Europe but we jammed together with Bruce Kulick at the shows.

    Where was the CD recorded?

The songs with Stevie on vocals were recorded at Gilby Clarke's studio and the songs with Steve were recorded in Keri Kelli's studio. I love to record in the states because you have so many Sushi places, outback restaurants, car parts for my firebird and the hottest girlz on the planet.

What is your favorite food and drink at Outback restaurants?

Backed onions and chicken wings. I always drink diet coke. I'm addicted to it !!

Did everyone get together in the studio or were parts recorded in different places?

Everything was recorded in the same studios. Bruce came in to record his leads after soundcheck of a Union concert in Orange County. Jani Lane did his back-ups when he was doing some recordings with Keri. He came in while we did "Far Away" and he totally liked the song. Steve Summers was almost all the time in the studio when we recorded the songs at Keri's house ( only because he knew we would have Sushi after recordings ha, ha, ha ).
You will see a lot of footage from the recordings when the "Shameless" video will be released next year. It will show stuff from the recordings of the 2 CD's and stuff from the tour. The video will be at least 70 to 100 minutes long. It should be ready next may or even earlier !!

Any chance of a live video in the future? Just in case people in the states are not able to catch a show.

Yes the video will be out next year featuring live and studio footage.

Will there be a tour of the United States?

Hopefully. I would love to tour the States but it would have to be a package with a few other bands together. It would be awesome together with L.A. Guns and 2 other bands. I wanna come, I wanna play there. I love the States. I used to almost live in New Jersey for 2 years back from 1996 to 1998.

Any chance of getting both Stevie Rachelle and Steve Summers to play some shows together?

That would be great !! We have to wait.

Why wasn't Steve Summers able to play the live shows?

Steve's dad got really sick a few days before the tour started. So we figured out it's better to bring Stevie, so Steve could stay with his family. Nobody was more upset about this than Steve himself. But Stevie did an amazing job. He kicks major ass.

    What songs did you play?

"Steal the Girlz", "Shock the World", "Queen 4 a Day", "Flaming Youth" ( KISS ), "I'm so good", "Nonstop City", "Tomorrow", "Lonely Nite in Paradise", "Place where Love can't go", "The all new Generation", "King of the Nighttime World", "Do you love me", "Just 1 Nite", "Lick it up". We were doing a few KISS songs, because we played on those KISS parties. In the future we will concentrate on our stuff.

Everybody talks about making a great party rock CD. You actually did it! What is the secret?

Thanxs a lot. I don't know. This is my favorite kind of music. This is the only music I can do. Rock'n roll is my life. This is what I always wanted to do and this is the kind of songs I love listening too.

How much input does everybody else on the songs?

I wrote most of the music. When you listen to the demos ( where I played all the instruments and sang ) there is not that much of a difference in the arrangments but it sound much better with Steve or Stevie singing. So I'm pretty much responsible for my songs. But I'm always really open for other ideas.

Have you talked to Stevie about playing any shows with TUFF? Or even joining TUFF on stage for a few shows?

That sounds cool. We have to see what happens !! We wanna play for everybody arround the world.

How long have you been recording music?

I only sang back-ups on a record from a band called "Lustfinger".

Have you been in any other bands besides "Shameless"?

    Yes I was in a band called "Provoke" from 1994 to 1996. That's were I met B.C.

What are some of your favorite CDs to come out in 2000?

    Nikki Sixx - 1958
    Mötley Crüe- New Tattoo
    Stevie Rachelle - Since 66
Marilyn Manson - Holy Wood ( I just got an advance copy today. It kick's major ass ( even it's not glam )

Do you think KISS will ever tour again?

I don't think so, this will be really sad for all their fans !!!
